- Mill rate for FY25 is 7.40
- Taxes are due July 1, interest begins October 1
- A second tax bill will be sent in January covering a five-month period (2/01/26 – 6/30/26) as we change our fiscal year from 2/01 – 01/31 to 07/01-06/30. This tax bill will be due February 1, interest will begin May 1
- Last year’s rate mill rate was 7.90
- Assessment is based on 100% of Real Estate Market Value
- West Gardiner Fiscal year for 2025 is 2/1/25 – 6/30/26 (17 months)
- Town wide revaluations are conducted each April
- The status of all taxable property is as of April 1st
- Taxes not paid by the due dates shall be charged interest at a rate of 6 % per annum
