A town Comprehensive Plan is a document designed to guide the future actions of a community.

It explains a future vision with long-term goals and objectives for all activities that affect the local government.

West Gardiner's last Comprehensive Plan was completed in 1990 and is quite outdated in today's standards and needs to be updated to address the town's current and future issues. 

In February 2023, a new Committee began the long process of addressing the many concerns of the community..  That Plan was adopted in 2024 and is attached below.
