The WGGC generally meets once a month from April to September at the Auxiliary Hall. For meeting times, please contact Nadine at 207-441-3547, or Charlene McFarland at 207-582-7239
The club has its own website and is committed to sharing information and ideas with folks who are interested in growing flowers, vegetables, herbs for cooking, growing with organic methods, managing pest control, preserving foods, etc.
We hope to start a Community Garden for our town, soon.
The garden club holds an annual plant sale each June, with the proceeds going to one or two scholarship donations for graduating West Gardiner high school seniors.

This year, we had two youngsters receive scholarship checks from the club:
Addison Pollis, who will be entering the field of Conservation Law; and Cole Hickey, who will be going into the field of Bio Chemistry.
Congratulations to both of the Graduates!
Our Members also take photographs of plants and nature, and turn them into greeting cards. We sell the cards during Voting Days and at the Annual Town Meetings, to add to the scholarship fund.
